My Childhood
I was born, and spent my younger childhood on the northwest side of Chicago, IL. When I was 7, our family moved to Elmhurst, IL which is where I went to Emerson Grade School, Churchville Jr. High School, and York High School. My parents were born in Serbia, and so we grew up learning both the Serbian culture and the American culture. My Favorites
Food: Pizza Movie: Pride and Prejudice Book: “The Sun Also Rises” by Ernest Hemingway Color: Blue Season: Fall Music: Alternative/ Indie Rock Subject: Art! (of course) Flower: Lily Animal: Siberian Huskie |
My Education
My first degree after high school was a BS in Marketing from Northern Illinois University. Several years later, I obtained an Associate Degree in Studio Arts from Harold Washington College, and most recently I graduated with a Master’s in Art Education from Columbia College Chicago. I continue to take courses related to education and the art field on a regular basis. |
